In other words, sermons that are bible-saturated, christ-centered, and exposited well can help your congregants as they face human crises through the power of the holy spirit.

Reply to this discussion board with 5 to 10 sentences………. Today in our culture and climate preachers find themselves in an interesting period of time ministering to our nation with issues such as polarized political division, Russian aggression, and race relations. I believe as preachers of the Gospel it should be our goal and aim to want to effectively minister to each individual issue well.
When reading Chapter #44 on “Preaching and Social Concerns” by Rev. Dr. J. Alfred Smith Sr., I found it to be extremely helpful and useful to me as I seek to preach to these certain social justice tensions in our nation today. On the second page of this chapter, he opens up with a powerful statement by saying, “Ill-prepared persons preaching about the gospel and social issues can be more deadly and destructive than those timid souls who strive to explain biblical texts without offering any social application” (Pg. 509). This statement is a strong admonishment and reminder to me that preaching the Gospel and social concerns is a serious matter and deserves adequate time and attention as a minister.
Moreover, as I continued to read Chapter #46 on “Preaching and Conflict” by Pastor B. Clayton Bell, he shared a extraditionary point about race relations that I believe will be profitable for me as I seek to preach to our nation. Pastor Bell mentions that “The preachers of the Word must never lose confidence in the power of the Holy Spirit to change hearts” (Pg. 533). I appreciate this simple but profound statement by Pastor Bell because at the end of the day when we are preaching about issues of conflict such as race it is not so much a “Skin problem but a Sin problem” as Rev. Dr. Robert Smith Jr., once stated in a lecture.BB
Lastly, as I read Chapter #47 on “Preaching and Human Crises” by Dr. Kenneth L. Chafin I was exceptionally encouraged by his ideas and thoughts on how to effectively preach to those congregants who are dealing with life crises. In this chapter, Dr. Chafin makes a remarkable statement which is “Authentic biblical preaching should address the needs of the people” (Pg. 536). In other words, sermons that are Bible-saturated, Christ-centered, and exposited well can help your congregants as they face human crises through the power of the Holy Spirit.

In chapter 5 we took a look at criminal culpability (responsibility). In most cases with a mature adult of average intelligence the idea is straight forward, but what about those with developmental disabilities or mental illness. Take a look at the paper by Stephen J. Morse in the required resources. What should the justice system do about those who claim to have these disabilities? What does the text say about criminal responsibility? Do you agree? defend your answer. Watch the short video below what is the position of the makers of the video, does this change your mind?

A mother brings in her 11 year old son, Branch, because he has had a nosebleed. She is concerned about it because they have been applying pressure by pinching it and the nosebleed won’t stop. He has no history of nosebleeds. He has no significant medical history and no known allergies. He is on no medications. Mom and Branch deny trauma to the nose. He says he just woke up with a nosebleed and it won’t stop. He tells you that the left side is the side that is bleeding.
Vital signs: BP 110/70 P 84 R 14 T 97.8 oral Pulse ox 99%
You recognize that simple pressure is not going to stop the nosebleed so you know that you will not have to intervene.
1. Prior to any type of procedure, you have the mother sign an informed consent for a procedures. What are the three major areas you must discuss when doing any type of procedure?
2. Nosebleeds can be divided into three groups. What are they?
3. 90% of nosebleeds fall into which group?
4. Name 4 indications for intervention by a provider for a nosebleed.
5. You place Branch on the exam table at approximately 45 degrees. You drape him appropriately. You have him blow his nose gently to remove clots. You then inspect the right side to familiarize yourself with his anatomy. You then inspect the left side using a nasal speculum. When using the nasal speculum, it is important to use it ______________ (HORIZONTALLY/VERTICALLY).
6. Why is it important to use the nasal speculum a certain way?
7. You note that the bleeding is coming from an area on the septum. You know that the next step is to apply a vasconstrictive solution to the nose. What are two ways you can deliver the vasoconstrictive solution?
8. You note that the area that is the source of the bleeding is about 3 mm in diameter. You make the decision to use a silver nitrate stick. How long should you apply pressure with the stick?
9. Why it is it important not to use the silver nitrate for over that time frame?
10. After hemostasis is obtained, what are three types of treatment methods that can be used to protect the cauterization site?
11. If that had not stopped the bleeding and you had to make the decision to use a nasal sponge or nasal tampon, the sponge/tampon should be coated in _____________ and left in place for __________ hours.
12. After putting in the nasal sponge/tampon, approximately 2 ml of ________ or _______ should be dripped onto the tip to help the sponge expand.
13. After placing the nasal sponge/tampon, the patient should be closely monitored for 3-5 minutes. Why is that?
14. After the close monitoring, the patient should be kept in observation status for ______ minutes.
15. If a sponge/tampon is used, it is not necessary to use antibiotics.
16. If it is necessary to pack the nose, it may be advisable to give the patient a narcotic or sedative medication (unless a contraindication exists). Why?
17. Name 5 complications of the above procedures.
18. After the procedure, you tell the pt and his mother that he can take acetaminophen for any pain/discomfort. Why is it important not to have him take ibuprofen?
19. What is the leading cause of nosebleeds in adolescents?
20. What CPT code would you use for the above procedure?
21. What is the definition of the above code?
Note: Please do not answer the questions. It’s just a guide to complete the assignment. Please use the attached template to complete the SOAP note. Thanks

Because charismatic leaders exhibited vision, determination, and self-confidence, followers found themselves encouraged and inspired by such leaders.

Please agree to the below giving insight
The theory of the charismatic leader has its origins in the 1922 study by German sociologist Max Weber. According to Weber charisma is more about appearances than action. Charismatic leadership encompasses three dimensions: the psychological dimension, which encompasses their inner qualities; the social aspect, driven by the external sources that shape the leader; and the relational dimension, relating to the relationship between the leader and their subordinate.
Moving forward to 1976 House in his paper “A 1976 Theory of Charismatic Leadership,” Considered charismatic leadership from a psychological standpoint. brother then charisma being a trait House contended that charismatic leaders had personal and behavioural characteristics that encouraged people to follow them. Because charismatic leaders exhibited vision, determination, and self-confidence, followers found themselves encouraged and inspired by such leaders.
A charismatic leadership style can appear similar to a transformational leadership style, in that the leader injects huge doses of enthusiasm into his or her team, and is very energetic in driving others forward. The concept of the charismatic leader is based on the notion that s/he is endowed with specifically exceptional powers or qualities and leads by way of the power of personality?
However, a charismatic leader can tend to believe more in him or herself than in their team. This can create a risk that a project, or even an entire organization, might collapse if the leader were to leave: In the eyes of their followers, success is tied up with the presence of the charismatic leader. As such, charismatic leadership carries great responsibility, and needs long-term commitment from the leader.
